With the 60th annual Grammy Awards quickly approaching, the celebrated music ceremony has announced it’s first wave of performers to hit the stage and set to make an appearance for the first time ever is none other than Childish Gambino. The “Redbone” rapper will also be joined by an assortment of acts including Lady Gaga, Pink and Little Big Town, all of whom are up for multiple Grammy awards this year.

Childish Gambino is currently nominated in five categories including the coveted award for Record of the Year for “Redbone,” which went triple platinum this year, and Album of the Year for Awaken, My Love!, which will be up against some stiff competition that includes Jay-Z’s 4:44, Kendrick Lamar’s DAMN., Lorde’s Melodrama, and Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic.

Meanwhile, the 2018 Grammy Awards are set to take place at Madison Square Garden in New York City on January 28. You can check out all the nominees and categories this year on our site.
