Japanese imprint BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS takes on one of Clarks‘s most recognizable silhouettes, the Desert Boot, reworking the utilitarian style with upgraded materials.

Thick, full-grain leather appears on the shoe’s upper, sourced from one of the UK’s foremost leather tanneries. A sweat-wicking liner appears within the boot, offsetting the weight of the leather and allowing for summertime wear, with Clarks tonally-appropriate crepe sole ensuring comfort during long treks. Meanwhile, red laces create a pop of visual interest, breaking up the earth-toned shoe.

Limited to 150 pieces, look to BEDWIN & THE HEARTBREAKERS’s website and American stockists for the March 16 drop. For more Japanese brands reworking classic footwear, White Mountaineering recently released its pair of revised adidas Superstars.
