UMAMIISM — a buzzy new label hailing from China — has just dropped its “Season 1” 2017 lookbook, with the tech-wear brand showcasing an eclectic list of influences for this collection, including the uniforms of First World War soldiers.
This inspiration shows itself in the form of large outsized pockets and a plethora of zips appearing throughout the clothing, while elsewhere there’s some contemporary nods in the forms of text to the reverse. The outerwear is lightweight and pastel-colored, coming accompanied by a selection of sidebags in hues to match the clothing.
