colette Continues Its Run of Stellar Collabs With Limited YEVO Headphones
The French store sees out its final year in style.
The latest in colette’s ongoing series collaborations sees the Parisian store hook-up with bluetooth headphones brand YEVO Labs. The release is part of the store’s year-long closing festivities and this time its dipped into tech. The smart headphones are remade in colette’s signature blue colorway, working with the brand that used to create Happy Plugs.
We spoke with Andreas Vural, founder of YEVO Labs, about how this collaboration came about. “We’ve been working with colette for the past six years with my other brand Happy Plugs,” he says. “And since colette was the store we first launched the YEVO 1 in, it felt natural that this would be the first design collaboration.”
Little needs to be said about how iconic a store colette is, so we also wanted to know what it was like being involved in the store’s final year. “It’s an honor. For me, Colette has been a part of my fashion education and to me it’s more than a shop; it’s been my research center, classroom and textbook all in one.”
The YEVO x colette headphones, will cost €249 (approximately $297 USD) and will be available from colette’s web store from September 26.
