Maze Runner: The Death Cure has just released its first official trailer. The Death Cure is the final installment to the American dystopian sci-fi action film series based on the book trilogy, The Maze Runner, written by James Dashner. The one-minute teaser is action-packed with classic cliffhanger scenes directed by Wes Ball and featuring actors Dylan O’Brien, Kaya Scodelario and Nathalie Emmanuel. The Death Cure will follow protagonist Thomas (O’Brien) and his group of escaped Gladers as they embark on a mission to find a cure to a deadly disease called the “Flare.” The film’s original release date was scheduled for February 17, 2017, however, 20th Century Fox postponed the premiere date due to O’Brien’s injuries sustained on-set.
