WWE's The New Day Hits Flight Club for Some 'Sneaker Shopping'

Following the raid of Macklemore’s closet, Sneaker Shopping is back with a stop at Flight Club’s New York City location. WWE’s own The New Day joins host Joe La Puma to talk kicks, shop and be joined by a surprise guest. The trio kicks things off by reminiscing about the significance of the Nike LeBron 9 “Hurricanes” colorway. Moving forward, Kofi Kingston discusses how his love for sneakers began with footwear from Payless in addition to embracing the Under Armour Curry 3 Low, which was the butt of frequent social media jokes.
As a surprise, WWE fan and rapper Wale joins in on the fun to talk sneakers and highlight his wrestling-inspired collaboration with ASICS and VILLA. Using the GEL-Lyte III as the canvas, Wale touches upon its Intercontinental Championship-inspired design. The group moves forward to talk about how sneakers have been incorporated into wrestling rather than the traditional boot and how designers like Jeremy Scott have contributed to The New Day’s attention-commanding outfits.
