Places+Faces & Gentle Monster Team up for a Collab and Pop Up in Korea
Making the move into eyewear.
Fresh from hosting a Hong Kong pop-up with HBX, London photography collective-turned-streetwear purveyor Places+Faces has launched a collaboration with Korean sunglasses brand Gentle Monster, with the capsule launched at GM’s Bat building — a space for pop-ups in Seoul.
The Places+Faces x Gentle Monster capsule features a selection of limited-edition apparel, while the pop-up will also stock Places+Faces’ print magazine which launched earlier this year. As well as the apparel and publication, Gentle Monster has produced a set of 20 specially-crafted sunglasses that will go to Places+Faces friends and family. The pop-up from P+F will also include an exhibition of the brand’s photography, which has seen the duo shoot the likes of Kanye West, A$AP Rocky and The Weeknd.
