In the latest installment of VICELAND’s NUTS + BOLTS series, Tyler, The Creator recently visited home furnishing purveyor Herman Miller to learn more about the history and evolution of furniture. Following a brief rundown of Charles and Ray Eames innovations following World War II, Tyler was offered the opportunity to design his very own Eames lounge chair. Tyler’s final design featured blue mohair and washed white ash wood which was inspired by the wood found on his bedroom floor. Check out the design process above and let us know what you think about the final design of Tyler’s Eames lounge chair.
