Virgil Abloh‘s ten-part Nike collaboration has undoubtedly been one of the biggest streetwear stories of the year. Of the ten silhouettes reworked by the designer, one of the stand-out pieces has been his take on the Air Jordan 1 coming in the Chicago colorway. Sneaker customizer Theheyyman has taken elements of this design and combined them with Nike’s 2015 Air Jordan collaboration with Japanese label fragment design.

The result fuses the signature features of the two designs: featuring the fragment Royal Blue colorway, adjusted Swoosh logo, quote marks, midsole and laces printed text and, obviously, the red tag from Abloh’s series of Nike sneakers and Off-White™ products. As it stands, these sneakers are strictly a one-off customization, but the pair is available via Theheyyman’s Instagram page. Take a look at the on-foot pictures above.

As well as the hyped Nike collaboration, Virgil Abloh has also been working with luxury travel brand Rimowa.
