Nike Reimagines the Air Max 97 With a Suede Slip-On Bootie
A luxurious look for one of Nike’s signature models.
With an uptick of Air Max 97 models from Nike as of late, the brand is continuing to pump out new looks of the sneaker with the announcement of a “Black Suede” model of the Air Max 97 Ultra SE model. This time around, the sneaker uses a black suede material for the construction of the upper, creating the wavy pattern we’ve seen before on previous AM97 models. The color continues all the way through the sneaker, from the pull tabs along the top of the body to the outsole beneath the model’s signature bubble chamber.
Expect to see the “Black Suede” colorway of the Nike Air Max 97 in the near future. For more on the Air Max 97, take a look at the “Deep Pewter” model set to drop later this fall.
