This Rio House Was Built With Stunning Visuals to Promote a Healthy Family
Located in Pachuca, Mexico and designed by Aarón Carrillo Díaz.

The gifted Mexican architect Aarón Carrillo Díaz and his talented design team have unveiled his latest production; the Pachuca, Mexico-situated Rio House.
Inside of a private and exclusive enclave within central Mexico, Aarón Carrillo Díaz’s Rio House boasts a striking contemporary exterior and interior, as well as special features that meet the strenuous demands of the region’s climate. “The intention of the project is to retake the values that we consider important in a residence and reintegrate them,” Diaz explains. “To do this, the concept of the project is to create a direct connection between the interior and exterior spaces through the use of covered terraces that allow the integration of daily life into areas of family life and contemplation, maintaining a relationship from any space in the project.”
As revealed by Diaz himself, this creation is centered on creating the ideal living conditions for a thriving, healthy family unit. From the kitchen and breakfast locale to the recreation area, everything a family could want is contained within those Pachuca-based walls. “All this results in a single multifunctional space and full of visuals, green areas and platforms that carry the concept that governed us when designing the project,” Diaz concludes.
