James Franco Is Tommy Wiseau in New 'The Disaster Artist' Trailer
Based on the film ‘The Room,’ the worst movie ever.
A24 has released the full trailer for James Franco‘s upcoming comedy The Disaster Artist, based on the best-selling tell-all about the making of Tommy Wiseau‘s film The Room. Franco plays Wiseau, director and leading man on what many call “the worst film ever made” with Dave Franco, Seth Rogen, Alison Brie and Zac Efron rounding out the cast.
In the trailer above, we get our first view of Franco reenacting all the terribly wonderful scenes The Room is known for to hilarious effect. We also see the behind the scenes moments and what fueled Wiseau to create the cult classic to begin with.
