Since Japanese label SOPHNET. announced its collection with American outdoor specialists Timberland earlier this year, anticipation has been growing for the fall-ready capsule. To mark the occasion, the brand has released a video that showcases the full “Explore the Unknown” collection as well as the statement of quality that is one of the collection’s motifs.

The collaboration features a range of apparel, with long sleeves and check shirts that come with text declaring the intention behind the collaboration: “timeless design, enduring construction, sportswear and outwear created to explore the unknown. Seasons come and go but Timberland quality outlasts them all.” Undoubtedly the standout piece, however, is SOPHNET.‘s take on Timberland’s signature six-inch Premium Boots — which come in matte black leather and metal — along with a SOPHNET. branded tag. The first pieces from the collection are set to drop on September 16, with the rest of the capsule releasing later this year.

Timberland has also recently collaborated with another Japanese label, as Tokyo’s nonnative also puts its spin on the six-inch Premium Boots.
