Google Announces Pixel 2 Launch Event
The tech giant’s latest smartphone is less than a month away.
Google fans won’t have to wait much longer to get a proper look at the tech giant’s latest Pixel smartphone. Hot on the heels of Apple‘s iPhone X and iPhone 8 announcements, Google has officially announced the launch event for the Pixel 2. Teased by way of a little “Funny you should ask…” vid, the event will highlight the second-ever batch of Google-branded phones — following last year’s Pixel and Pixel XL — and is expect to include the HTC-made Pixel 2 and an LG-crafted Pixel 2 XL, which will be based on the Korean company’s V30.
Stay tuned for official details on the new Pixels and expect the unveiling to kick off at 9 a.m. PT in San Francisco on October 4.
