BAIT & Diadora Team up on a Colorful ‘Transformers’-Inspired Sneaker Collection
Featuring Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee and Soundwave.
Sneaker retailer BAIT recently teamed up with Diadora on a colorful Transformers-inspired sneaker collection. The three-way collaboration sees the colors of Hasbro’s Transformers characters Optimus Prime, Megatron, Bumblebee, and Soundwave featured on a range of Diadora’s N.9000s, S.8000 and Aeon. The uppers of each character-inspired colorway is constructed of a mixture of Italian leather, wolverine suede, reflective 3M and premium nubuck. While Autobot and Decepticon metal shields found on the heel and a silver foil-branded insole rounds up the design of the shoes. Additionally, each pair comes with a corresponding “TV Edition” collectible figurine designed by artist Les Schettkoe. Retailing at $230 USD, the Transformers x BAIT x Diadora collaboration is set to release September 9 at all BAIT locations and online via a limited raffle.
