Along with being one of hip-hop’s most prolific and admired artists, Gucci Mane will soon become one of literature’s newest authors following the release of his upcoming autobiography. Set to release in stores September 19, Gucci recently released a trailer to offer fans an idea of what they can expect. The autobiography is a compilation of the memoirs Guwop wrote during his time in a maximum-security federal prison and serves as the first time the artist tells his story in his own words. Gucci offers a glimpse at the highs and lows of his career with an in-depth look at his roots in Alabama, the streets of Atlanta, and the trap house and studio where he perfected his sound. Check out the trailer for The Autobiography of Gucci Mane above and pre-order the book here.
