The Johto region’s Legendary dogs — Raikou, Entei, and Suicune — will be making their debut on Pokémon GO. The three dogs will be available each in different parts of the world one month at a time, similar to how they appear in the Pokémon Gold/Silver games.

Raikou will be in the Americas, Entei in Europe and Africa, and lastly Suicune in the Asia-Pacific region starting today. The Legendaries will rotate in availability at the end of September and once more towards the end of October. To kick things off, Raikou will be available in the Americas, Entei in Europe and Africa, and Suicune in the Asia-Pacific region starting August 31. They will rotate availability at the end of September and again at the end of October.

Articuno, Moltres, Zapdos, and Lugia, the Legendary birds will be phased out of the game in place of the new Legendary Pokémon. Are you excited to catch these three? Share your thoughts in the comments below.
