Military-inspired designs have been a consistent part of streetwear throughout the years, and one of the style category’s most signature garments — the ballistic vest — was arguably first pushed into the fashion world by Helmut Lang in the ’90s. For its latest offering, the renowned Austrian label has revisited and dropped a re-edition of its archive ballistic vest design. The all-black garment features padded mesh construction, velcro opening at the shoulder and side, a sheer mesh layer at the front and padded neoprene at the back.
