adidas Originals and White Mountaineering Unveil More Military-Inspired Apparel for 2017 Fall/Winter
Mixing technical apparel with the adidas archive.

For the latest installment of the long term collaboration between adidas Originals and Japanese label White Mountaineering, the two brands have unveiled a collection of utilitarian, technical apparel. The 2017 fall/winter drop aims to mix adidas’ sporting heritage and archive with the Japanese brand’s high-end technical clothing. With this in mind, the brand’s founder Yosuke Aizawa has given his reinterpretation of classic adidas Originals apparel pieces such as cargo pants, knitwear, jerseys and headwear pieces — now with a distinct White Mountaineering tinge.
Other key pieces in the apparel collection include strong outerwear and jackets, such as a GORE-TEX lined Shell Jacket, an insulated Down Jacket, and a vintage-inspired military Flight Jacket. The mix of military influences and sportswear is also referenced in the collection’s color scheme, with a palette of black, white and olive.
The full 2017 fall/winter collection from adidas Originals by White Mountaineering is set to drop on September 9 from the adidas web store, as well as adidas Originals flagships and select retailers, with the collection priced between $130 USD and $550 USD.
