Apple Is Finally on Instagram With a Collection of Photo Albums
To showcase photos taken by iPhone users and the accompanying hashtag #ShotoniPhone.
Apple has finally joined the Facebook-owned photo app Instagram, complete with a batch of photo albums highlighting the iPhone’s camera and accompanying hashtag #ShotoniPhone, which launched back in 2015 with videos spots, billboards and print ads. This is a rare campaign for the tech giant as it has never tweeted from its Twitter page, and its Facebook feed is entirely blank, however Apple Music, among other Cupertino entities, has had a strong presence on all three social media platforms for some time now.
It is currently unknown how Apple plans to use Instagram behind sharing iPhone user’s photos with the proprietary hashtag, but we’re following the page now, so we’ll find out soon enough.
