Sisqo's "Thong Song" Finally Gets an Official Remix & Video

Back in 1999, Sisqo released his classic “Thong Song.” Now — 18 years later — an official, tropical-EDM remix and video has arrived. The rework is made by Norwegian production trio Jcy and features Sisqo on the vocals. The strings from the original are updated with some “tropical” percussion and even contains a downtempo, future bass-type drop. “I’ve been asked so many times over the years to make a new version of ‘Thong Song,’ and I have declined every time until I heard the new version that Jcy did,” Sisqo told Buzzfeed News. “I thought it was dope and figured maybe it was time to put some new rims on the Bugatti.”
