Nike Gives the Air Max 1 Jewel a Monochrome Rework
The latest reissue of the ’90s sneaker.
After recently releasing the Air Max 1 Jewel in “Rare Ruby,” “Black Diamond” and “University Blue“, Nike has returned to the silhouette for a new monochrome colorway. The reissued ’90s sneaker features the classic leather white upper and Jewel Swoosh branding, as well as a giant Swoosh logo on the shoe’s sole. For the “White/Black” colorway, Nike has also added touches of black to the mudguard, Air Max unit and heel counter. The Air Max 1 Premium Jewel “White/Black” is slated to release from Nike’s web store and select retailers on July 13. There’s no word on price yet, but it’s likely to be around the $140 USD mark.
