Nike continues to celebrate the return of the Air Max 1 Jewel by bringing back the OG 1997 “University Blue” colorway. The retro model maintains the same blueprints of the original, boasting a white leather upper and crisp white midsole with hits of “University Blue” at the mud guard and Jewel Swoosh branding. What sets the new version apart from the classic is the sole unit, which sees a visible blue Max Air unit and a translucent outsole.

The Nike Air Max 1 SC Jewel “University Blue” will release on July 13 for a retail price of $140 USD at select Swoosh retailers and Nike’s online shop.

In case you missed it, the Nike Air Max 1 Jewel is also returning in “Rare Ruby” and “Black Diamond’ iterations.
