Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Pack Pays Tribute to the G.O.A.T.'s Baseball Career
He wanted to be the best at baseball, too.
The Jordan Brand is set to release a limited edition Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Pack that pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s short-lived baseball career. The pack will come in “Black Leather” with the number 45 embroidered on the heels as a nod to his time spent with the Birmingham Barons, and the other in “Brown Leather” with 35 to signify his time with the Scottsdale Scorpions of the Arizona Fall League Scorpions in 1994. Constructed out of a premium leather upper equipped with woven detailing on the side panels and heel, the silhouette features contrast created by way of the clean white numbers and sole.
Although the official release date has not been announced yet, the Air Jordan 9 Baseball Glove Pack is expected to be only limited to 2,000 pairs, with “Black Leather” coming in more amounts than “Brown Leather.” The pack is reportedly released in a mystery box style that’s inspired by ripping open a pack of baseball cards. What colorway you’ll get inside is unknown.
