A First Look at Netflix's Version of Spike Lee's 'She's Gotta Have It'
Who will Nola Darling choose?
Ripping a page from his very own 1986 hit film She’s Gotta Have It, news has been quick to circulate since Spike Lee first acknowledged he would be bringing the film premise to small screen series form via Netflix. According to the trailer, sexually active single, Nola Darling spends much time and effort juggling her multiple love interests — sex obsessed stud, generous gentleman and exuberant sneakerhead — each of whom differ from that of another, while enticing Nola with their eclectic individualism. While no official release date has yet been confirmed, look for Netflix’s version of She’s Gotta Have It towards the end of the year. For now, check out the trailer above for a first look.
