Listen to Sampha Cover Solange's "Cranes In The Sky"
Part of an intimate set at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.
As part of the BBC’s coverage of this year’s Glastonbury Festival, Sampha was invited to perform a selection of songs in an intimate setting before his official performance at the festival. As well as playing “Blood On Me” and “No One Knows Me (Like The Piano)” from his debut album, Process, Sampha also took on Solange‘s anthemic “Cranes In the Sky.” The pair have previous form together, having linked up on Solange’s A Seat at the Table earlier this year — an experience that Sampha describes as “wonderful,” while Solange took to Twitter to respond in kind, letting the British artist know that his “voice and soul are unmatched.” You can listen to Sampha’s “Cranes In The Sky” cover, along with the rest of his set, over on the BBC website.
