Watch Drake Welcome Conor McGregor to His Hometown of Toronto

The Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor press tour is well on its way. Having already made its first stop in Los Angeles, the second leg of the four part tour hit up Drake‘s hometown of Toronto Wednesday night. Of course, if there’s a major sporting event, no doubt the 6 God will be showing up.
Making an appearance before the festivities kicked off, Drake welcomed the Irish MMA champion when he arrived, even giving McGregor a big hug. Drake then went on to publicly welcome both Mayweather and McGregor to Toronto as he took to the stage. Watch Drake’s speech above and the interactions below. The next Floyd Mayweather vs Conor McGregor press tour stop will be in Brooklyn this Thursday. During his welcome, Drake stated:
“Listen, I’m going to be honest: I came here today to witness history with each and every one of you. The biggest fight in the history of fighting, and, of course, they had to come to the greatest city in the world to do a press conference. So, whether it is Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather or whether it is the ‘Notorious’ Conor McGregor, I just want to welcome these two fighters to Toronto, a place that we live till the day that we are all gone. My name is Drake. I love each and every one of you. Let’s get into this shit.”
