'Close Enough' Is the Spiritual Successor to 'Regular Show' We've Been Waiting For
From creator J. G. Quintel himself.
Fans of Cartoon Network‘s Regular Show are in for a treat with creator J.G Quintel’s new series Close Enough. The show revolves around a bunch of characters transitioning from their 20s to their 30s. The focus of the series is on a married couple juggling normal things like parenthood and friendship, to more surreal situations like ham theft, stripper clowns and getting sucked into other dimensions. The 13-episode Close Enough is the first collaborative effort between corporate siblings Cartoon Network Studios and Studio T, appearing to target the adult demographic that made Regular Show so popular. Regular Show concluded after eight seasons and 261 episodes this year.
Close Enough is set to debut in fall 2017 or early 2018 on TBS. Watch the sneak peek above and share your thoughts below.
