ASICS' GEL-Lique Returns With "Salmon-Toe" Inspiration

Look familiar?

ASICS’ GEL-Lique model is back with a familiar influence on its design. Bold color blocking makes a comeback for the model as its toebox stands out from the rest of its upper. ASICS’ latest drop mixes “Evening Sand” and “Aluminum Grey” throughout its design as it rests atop of a white outsole. Lique branding can be found on the lateral side of each heel as a complement to its 3M reflective ASICS stripes.

For some, this iteration is reminiscent of the popular “Salmon Toe” colorway that was launched alongside KITH founder, Ronnie Fieg and arguably became one of the best ASICS collaborations to date. Its GEL-Lique follow up serves as a consolation prize to those who may have missed out on the aforementioned collab.

ASICS’ GEL-Lique “Aluminum” is currently available at select retailers such as Feature for a retail price of $90 USD.
