Louis Vuitton Looks Into the Possibility of Opening a U.S.-Based Factory
Worldwide demand continues to skyrocket.

Louis Vuitton’s signature canvas-and-leather handbags have long remained a hallmark for the high fashion Parisian label — and now with global demand for upscale luxury goods reaching feverish highs, LV is in talks of opening a U.S.-based factory. LVMH chairman Bernard Arnault is said to have targeted either the Carolinas or Texas as a potential destination with the possibility of France adding another site and Portugal being looked at to expand its current operations. Much of Louis Vuitton’s recent successes are being linked back to artistic director Nicolas Ghesquiere’s focus towards the travel sector with menswear director Kim Jones catching the attention of today’s youth — thanks largely to the brand’s collaborative collection alongside Supreme.
