The latest trailer for the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts III made waves on the internet after publisher Square Enix released it online after debuting at the “Kingdom Hearts Orchestra” over the weekend in Los Angeles. Showing in-game footage that is still currently in development, the trailer shows Sora and friends bashing their way through hordes of bad guys using the signature Keyblade and other weapons. Square Enix did not give a release date for the game but did promise more information at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, California on July 15.
Fans of the franchise have been begging for a new game since the release of Kingdom Hearts II for the PlayStation 2 in 2005. The game has seen multiple spin-off games for different consoles, such as Kingdom Hearts 3D for the Nintendo 3DS and Kingdom Hearts Unchained X for iOS and Android, as well as HD remakes of past games.
