The Converse Fastbreak Makes Its First Ever Return This Summer
The OG retro hoop model.

There’s no doubt that the Converse Fastbreak is an iconic hoop model — the pair that Michael Jordan wore during the 1984 Olympic gold-medal game against Spain sold for a record $190,373 USD recently. While you probably didn’t get a chance to cop that autographed pair, you’ll now be able to own a brand new pair of the retro hoop kicks this summer. Returning for the first time ever, the Converse Fastbreak debuts in three vintage-inspired team colorways — a white base with red, purple or green accents at the ankle collar, star logo branding and outsole. The mid-top silhouette maintains its OG 1983 look with a leather and padded nylon construction, while a drop-in Lunarlon insole gives the shoe a modern tech upgrade without messing with the classic design.
The Converse Fastbreak releases on June 29 for a retail price of $85 at select Converse retailers and online at Converse’s web store.
