The Balenciaga Speed Trainer Receives a Sleek "Triple Black" Treatment
Could this be the best sock-inspired iteration yet?
Since its debut last November, the Balenciaga Speed Trainer has caught the attention of the fashion masses—even Zara made a copycat. What else can you ask for in a shoe? After all the sock-inspired sneaker weighs only half a pound and boasts a minimal design from its knitted upper to its futuristic sole. But this time around, the French luxury house has improved it, unveiling a “Triple Black” rendition of the coveted crepes. The trainer was previously introduced in “Triple White” as well as white/black colorways. Not to mention, a Ribbed iteration of the high-top model was unveiled just days ago.
Check out the Balenciaga Speed Trainer in “Triple Black” above and pre-order the pair now at Bergdorf Goodman for approximately $545 USD. An official worldwide release is slated for October 9.
