Balenciaga Goes Full Sock With Its New Speed Trainer

Since first breaking out onto the scene last year, Balenciaga’s Speed Trainer has done well to turn heads with its dynamic sock-like aesthetic. Minimalist in design, yet forceful in impact, the Speed Trainer has been subject to numerous bootleg renditions in its relatively young lifespan. The newest iteration of the futuristic runner was recently revealed exposing its all-black color scheme and exaggerated knit sock upper. Rounding out the new design is the subtle branding laid out along the lower side area and the shock absorber sole done up in black. Retailing for $595 USD, the Balenciaga Speed Ribbed Low Trainer is available now at such retailers as Bergdorf Goodman.
