Fast fashion attacks again.

Zara does it again. The fast fashion retailer has ripped off two recognizable sneaker silhouettes — the Balenciaga Speed Trainer and adidas Originals NMD CS1 PK. Zara’s iteration of the former is called the “High Top Black Sock Sneakers” and retails for $70 USD, a far cry from Balenciaga’s retail price tag of $545 USD. Both feature a similar sock silhouette, but set on different soles.

On the other hand, Zara’s version of adidas’s NMD CS1 PK is uncannily similar. Called the “Lightweight Black High Top Sneaker,” the shoe retails for $50 USD and looks almost exactly the same, stripes included, minus the BOOST sole found on the authentic version.

What do you think of these blatant ripoffs?
