Nike Gives the Mayfly a Breathable & Waterproof Makeover
Reimagining the iconic marathon shoe.
Nike recently gave its iconic Mayfly marathon shoe a breathable and waterproof makeover just in time for the warm summer months. The reimagined Mayfly Lite Breathe features a lightweight perforated ripstop nylon upper and rubber outsole traction pods which provide durability and comfort in all types of weather. While an EVA sockliner, memory foam heel counter and dual density phylon midsole offer advanced supportive cushioning. Reflective branding elements found on the shoe’s upper rounds out the design of Nike’s latest iteration of the Mayfly marathon shoe. Retailing at $110 USD, Nike’s Mayfly Lite Breathe in its “University Red” and “Pure Platinum” colorways is available now at retailers like Sneaker Politics.
