Nike Honors Rei Kawakubo's "COMME des GARÇONS: Art of the In-Between" Exhibit With a New Air Pegasus 83 CDG
For the opening of the iconic designer’s show at the Met.
The Nike Air Pegasus 83 is getting a new COMME des GARÇONS makeover for Rei Kawakubo‘s upcoming “Rei Kawakubo/COMME des GARÇONS: Art of the In-Between” exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. An earlier CDG release this year saw a simple, yet bold black and white design but this new version is practically the same with a metallic gold branding at the back. The pair is crafted from triple-black sued and a leather Swoosh. The shoes are also slated to be part of a CDG x Met museum pop-up merchandise selection. More news on that soon.
While the exhibit opens on May 4, the kicks will actually be available on May 2 at the Metropolitan Museum of Art Store.
