Yup, an IKEA FRAKTA dad cap now exists and it’s all thanks to Los Angeles-based labels Pleasures and Chinatown Market. Not long ago, Balenciaga reimagined the iconic 99-cent bag as a $2,145 USD luxury tote. The Swedish furniture giant responded to the copycat iteration with a humorous ad detailing how to spot an original IKEA FRAKTA bag. This time around, the streetwear duo have transformed the bright-blue polypropylene accessory into a $38 USD hat for the 2017 spring/summer season. You’re probably cringing at the concept, but it’s executed pretty damn well, to say the least.
