Nike's Dropping an Air Max 97-Inspired "Metallic Gold" Air Max Plus

After getting the “Silver Bullet” treatment last month, Nike’s Air Max Plus is back with yet another 20th anniversary nod to the Air Max 97. This time around, the kicks are getting a “Metallic Gold” makeover. Channeling the look of perhaps the second-most popular AM97, the kicks come dressed in a shiny gold upper to go along with a red Swoosh and black hits to the likes of the lining, nylon lace loops and rubber outsole.

Expect the Air Max Plus “Metallic Gold” to hit Nike Sportswear spots on May 17 — one day prior to its AM97 counterpart’s return to the States.
