Instagram user @remzashoedle is one of the lucky few who managed to cop the widely-popular Supreme x Nike Air More Uptempos that released this past April. When he finally received his red/white pair, however, there was presumably mold all over it. From the upper to the outsole, traces upon traces of fungus can be observed on his long-anticipated basketball sneakers. The mold was ostensibly due to a damp box in which the shoes were stored and shipped in.

@remzashoedle recently took to the social media platform to showcase the moldy shoes and express his dissatisfaction (below). “This is so fucking frustrating. Yes, it’s only a pair of shoes but still… really hoping @supremenewyork will at least answer my email,” he captioned in one post. Having added: “When you think you got a dope pick up but turns out your shit is thrashed even before you take em out the box.”

Not long ago, Twitter users who copped the black Suptempo colorway were complaining about having received variants that were missing 3M material behind the “SUPREME” lettering. There is still no word yet from Nike and Supreme regarding the mold or the faulty 3M. However, be sure to check back on HYPEBEAST for updates.
