The Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold” Returns to the U.S. Next Month

The fan-favorite colorway is just weeks away.

Good news, American Air Max fans: after making its way to European retailers earlier this month, Nike’s “Metallic Gold” Air Max 97 is set to hit shelves at U.S. Nike Sportswear spots next month. Arguably the most popular take on the 1997 release outside of the fan-favorite “Silver Bullet” pair, this drop echoes the look of the 20-year-old OG, but swaps out silver for gold.

The Nike Air Max 97 “Metallic Gold” retro drops on May 18 for $160 USD.
