Denim purveyor Self Edge has released its Summer 2017 lookbook, titled “La Playita,” that was shot near a fishing village right outside San Jose del Cabo near the outfit’s Mexican flagship. “We tell a story of the boys of La Playita, the sandy beaches of San Jose del Cabo, and the remains of the rebuilding which took place after a category 5 hurricane wreaked havoc on the region a little over two years ago,” said founder Kiya Babzani. The new collection offers a Japanese-made pocket tee and henley from Sugar Cane, Lady White Co. and The Strike Gold tees, Stevenson Overall jeans, John Lofgren sneakers, and sterling silver chains and bracelets from Neff Goldsmith and Good Art.
Launched in 2006, Self Edge specializes in some of the world’s finest denim, including its own in-house brand, with locations in SF, NY, LA, PDX, and Mexico — its newest location.
