After giving its Air Max Zero a “Silver Bullet” makeover, Nike is now giving its Air Max Plus model the fan-favorite metallic treatment. This time, the wavy late-’90s model is merged with the Air Max 97’s most iconic silver colorway. The result sees a silver metallic upper with varying shades of gray on the wavy caging, mudguard and toe tip, as well as a contrasting red Swoosh on the side. A generous white midsole with the classic Max Air units anchor the old-school design and offer a supported step. The Air Max Plus “Silver Bullet” is scheduled for release on April 13 in-store and online at Nike retailers such as Foot Locker.
