Nike's Air Max 95 "Neon" Returns With a Twist
A new, contrasting look.
Nike‘s ongoing venture into resurfacing OG classics most recently sees the return of the Air Max 95 “Neon” colorway in a new makeup. For this remixed colorway, the popular model boasts a light to dark gray gradient upper accented by an embroidered neon yellow Swoosh at the heel. Unlike the original “Neon” makeup from 1995, the 2017 remix sees the gradient flipped, with the lightest shade of gray on the bottom and the darkest at the top, and the neon yellow eyestays replaced with dark gray eyestays. Other details include 3M reflective material on the heel counter, throat and tongue tab, and a light gray midsole with Max Air units and hits of neon on the outsole. The Nike Air Max 95 “Neon” 2017 remix is available at international Swoosh retailers such as atmos for ￥16,000 JPY (approximately $145 USD) and slated for release stateside in the near future.
