The latest update to the Starbucks app for iOS is going to make many coffee lovers’ lives much easier. For one of the app’s most convenient features yet, Starbucks has decided to allow customers to send gift cards through iMessage. Without even adding or interrupting your iMessage conversation, you can now ensure the person you’re messaging has money on their gift card to pick up a drink by the time your conversation concludes. Or, maybe you want your friend to try the new Matcha pudding.

Besides the new gift card function, the new Starbucks iOS app update introduces a new mobile ordering interface, additional filtering options for pulling together lists of nearby locations and new push notifications. Log onto your Starbucks app now to check out all the new features the latest update has to offer. Besides app updates, Starbucks has also been reworking other parts of its business operations.
