The Y-3 Stan Smith Gets a Hint of Black
A modernized version of the classic.
Yohji Yamamoto reinterpreted the iconic adidas Originals Stan Smith for his Y-3 line, first coming out with an all-white iteration. Simply called the Y-3 Stan Smith, the avant-garde and modernized version of the classic is now available in black and white. This luxe sneaker features the same material seen on the Y-3 Qasa, and boasts an eye-catching dual-zip closure in lieu of traditional laces. Predominantly white, the shoe is flanked with black heels that bear Y-3 embossed branding. The Y-3 Stan Smith in black and white is available now at select Y-3 retailers such as Livestock, where it retails for $375 CAD (approximately $280 USD).
