Nintendo's Joy-Con Controllers Will Get a New Vibrant Color
And an add-on battery pack.

Nintendo is giving its latest and fastest-selling Switch console a new colorway and hardware update. Users now have the option to buy the Joy-Con controller in “Neon Yellow” for both the left and right controllers. Additionally, Nintendo is introducing a battery back for the controllers that will keep them juiced via AA batteries to keel you over the internal battery power, which has a 20-hour-long lifespan. Both the “Neon Yellow” Joy-Con controller and battery pack will be launching in the U.S. on June 16. Though no official U.S. retail price has been announced, Nintendo Japan’s website lists the battery pack at ¥3,280 JPY (approximately $30 USD).
