'Star Wars Battlefront II' to Feature Characters From All Eras
The ‘Battlefront’ followup is getting a single-player campaign, too.
As great as 2015’s Star Wars Battlefront was, fans had two major gripes about the game. First of all, the game was entirely multiplayer. Secondly, The Force Awakens was nowhere to be found — this despite the fact that both the game and film launched in during the same holiday window. Thankfully, EA and DICE are righting the ship with the game’s upcoming sequel. Leaked earlier today, the first trailer for Battlefront II not only confirms the addition of a single-player campaign, but also showcases characters from throughout the franchise’s eras: everyone from Rey to Darth Maul to Yoda will appear in the highly anticipated sequel.
Check out the trailer above and stay tuned for an official reveal. Given the promise of playable The Last Jedi heroes to those who pre-order the game, a release will undoubtedly coincide with Episode VIII’s Holiday 2017 premiere.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15.
