Marvel announced that Josh Brolin will be casted to play Cable in the future Deadpool 2 film. Cable aka Nathan Summers is the time-traveling son of Cyclops and Jean Grey who was sent from the future to prevent an apocalypse. In the Marvel Universe (New Mutants #98), the witty mercenary Deadpool was hired to kill Cable; we can assume and anticipate that Josh Brolin will be heading toe-to-toe with Ryan Reynolds in this upcoming sequel, even though the two become friends in the comic. Keep in mind, the actor is also slated to fulfill the highly-anticipated role of The Mad Titan, aka Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War scheduled to hit theaters next year.

If you haven’t already, check out the No Good Deed teaser while you wait for the Deadpool 2 official release in March 2018.
