New 'Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets' Trailer Explains the City of a Thousand Planets
It’s called “Alpha.”
After dropping off a trailer for Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets in November of last year, we now get a second clip explaining the history behind Alpha, the City of a Thousand Planets. Home to numerous intergalactic species who share their knowledge and intellect with each other, Alpha is a peaceful metropolis that needs to be saved by Agent Valerian (Dane DeHaan) and his partner/lover Agent Laureline (Cara Delevingne) from an evil force set on destroying it. With multiple new fight sequences and plenty of continued sexual tension, catch all the action above as the duo fight monsters, suspicious foes and others in the Luc Besson-directed film which also stars bad girl RiRi.
Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets will hit theaters on July 21.
